AmerenUE Residential Generator Rebate Program

Program Guidelines and Description

AmerenUE electric residential customers in Missouri can receive up to 50% of the cost; with a maximum rebate of $500 toward the purchase and installation of an AmerenUE-approved Safe Connect generator transfer switch system installed by a licensed electrical contractor [like Brda Electric] from the AmerenUE-approved Provider Network.  Contact Brda today to discuss your new home generator installation needs and to proceed with getting your rebate!

This rebate was good while funds were available for equipment purchased between July 31, 2009 and July 31, 2010, and installed by August 31, 2010.  But, as of July 30, 2010 a new program was approved to extend the program another year: July 31, 2010 through July 31, 2011.  This program has not changed other than the required purchase & approval dates:

• Devices must be purchased between July 31^st, 2010 and July 31^st, 2011
• Must be installed by an AmerenUE approved installer, like Brda Electric, Inc., by August 31^st, 2011

The Safe Connect portion of the Ameren website will soon be updated to include all new program dates and application forms.

Before you install a Safe Connect generator transfer switch system, here are some things you need to know to qualify:

• The program is available to all AmerenUE electric residential customers while funds are available.
• You must select an AmerenUE approved installer from the approved Provider Network – Brda Electric is an AmerenUE approved installer and can assist you in processing your rebate application.
• The Safe Connect Transfer Switch System device must be installed to qualify.
• You must fill out this application completely and attach all required documentation from the installer listed on the application checklist.
• You must mail in the completed application form along with the required documentation to the address below.
• By applying for this rebate, you agree to allow AmerenUE to verify installation through an onsite visit, if necessary.
• You must mark the application to receive your rebate either as a credit to your AmerenUE electric bill, or to be mailed a separate check to the address you provide.
• Incomplete information may delay or disqualify your rebate. All rebate requests must be postmarked no later than September 15, 2011.
• If all conditions for rebate are met, please allow 2 to 3 weeks for processing and mailing to receive your rebate check.
