Federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC)-+
The ITC allows your business to claim up to 30% of the total cost of your solar installation as a federal tax credit. MACRS Depreciation-+
Commercial solar systems typically qualify for the Modified Accelerated Cost Recovery System (MACRS), which lets businesses recover their investment faster through accelerated depreciation. On top of MACRS, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) permanently reinstated 100% bonus depreciation for qualified property placed in service after January 19, 2025. For projects installed between January 1 and January 19, 2025, the bonus rate is 40%, with additional transition options available for certain assets.

All sales, field staff, and installation crews are in-house. We do not subcontract core solar work, which allows for tighter communication, consistent quality control, and accountability at every stage of the project.

This is also a convenient time to perform a routine maintenance check and cleaning. When it’s time, we reinstall each panel in its original configuration. Do I need a solar electrician for panel removal, or can a roofer do it?-+
A licensed solar electrician is required. Solar removal involves electrical wiring and code compliance, and roofers aren’t trained or insured for that work.
Will removing my solar panels void my warranty?-+
It depends on your original agreement, but Brda’s licensed electricians complete removal and reinstallation to manufacturer and code standards to help maintain warranty coverage. Always check your contract.
Can Brda service a system installed by another company?-+
Yes. Brda’s solar electricians can support systems installed by other providers, including maintenance, upgrades, and removal/reinstallation.
