Project Overview
Brda Electric completed a full turnkey solar and battery backup installation for a homeowner in Ballwin, Missouri who wanted reliable solar production paired with meaningful backup protection during outages.
This system was built around a 12.18kW Enphase solar array using 29 all-black Silfab 420W panels for a clean, modern look. To optimize performance and reliability, each panel was paired with Enphase IQ8+ microinverters, allowing the system to produce efficiently and reduce the impact of shading or panel-level issues.
For backup power and energy independence, we installed three Enphase IQ 10C batteries (10 kWh each), giving the homeowner expanded storage capacity and the ability to keep critical loads running when the grid goes down. After installation, our team completed full commissioning, configured monitoring, and set up the mobile app so the homeowner can track production, consumption, and battery status in real time.
As part of our turnkey process, Brda Electric also coordinated with Ameren for utility connection, handled required permits, and completed a full system walkthrough so the homeowner knows how everything works from day one.
