Solar + Battery Storage Installation

Project Overview

Brda Electric completed a full turnkey solar and battery storage installation for a homeowner in Chesterfield, Missouri who wanted a high-capacity system designed for serious energy savings and strong outage resilience.

This project included a large solar array using 63 all-black Canadian Solar 450W panels, paired with EG4’s battery storage ecosystem for robust performance and scalable backup capability. To support the system’s operation and safe integration with the home’s electrical service, we installed two GridBOSS MID 200A service entrance units, along with six EG4 FlexBOSS21 inverters. For energy storage, we installed six EG4 14.3 kWh all-weather wall-mount lithium batteries, then completed full commissioning so the homeowner’s storage system is configured, tested, and ready for real-world performance.

As part of the turnkey scope, Brda Electric provided all required wiring and equipment, tied the system into the home’s electrical infrastructure, coordinated with Ameren for utility connection, and handled all required permitting. The project is also subject to Ameren and city/county approvals, and our team completed a full homeowner walkthrough to ensure the customer understands how to operate and monitor the system.
