Project Overview
Brda Electric completed a Tesla EV charging and Powershare installation for a residential customer in St. Charles, Missouri, upgrading their system to support Cybertruck bidirectional charging.
The project included:
- Replacing the existing Tesla Wall Connector with the Universal Wall Connector
- Installing a Tesla Gateway and fully enabling the Powershare system
- Running communication wiring between the Gateway and the charger
- Installing new breakers, conduit, and all necessary wiring to meet Tesla specifications
- Coordinating permits and inspections
With this setup, the homeowner is now equipped to charge their Tesla vehicle and send power from the Cybertruck back to the home during outages or peak utility rates.
